The Karolinska Institutet (Sweden), a partner in the European University of Brain and Technology Alliance -NeurotechEU-, held its Erasmus+ Staff Training Week<\/strong> from 12th to 14th March. As part of its program, it organized training and working sessions on communication and impact within the NeurotechEU environment. Representing the Miguel Hern\u00e1ndez University of Elche (UMH), journalist \u00c1ngeles Gallar from the Communication, Marketing, and Student Services Department, and J\u00falia Santacreu, NeurotechEU communication officer at the UMH, attended.<\/p>\n

During their stay, the UMH representatives, involved in the NeurotechEU communication work package, participated in various sessions focused on multicultural communication,<\/strong> the creation of scientific and institutional content<\/strong>, and the exchange of ideas to promote interest in science<\/strong> both at the Alliance level and locally. This meeting brought together more than 20 communication professionals from the NeurotechEU partner universities in Stockholm.<\/p>\n

Additionally, on the Swedish campus, the attendees visited the museum ‘The Cell, where art meets life science<\/strong>‘, which offers exhibitions on utensils and tools used in health sciences, theatrical performances, educational school programs, debates, and meetings.<\/p>\n

Another key objective of the International Week was to strengthen ties between the NeurotechEU member universities<\/strong> to optimise work organization and identify good communication practices and areas for improvement.<\/p>\n

NeurotechEU, funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ program and the Spanish Government’s Ministry of Science, Innovation, and Universities, is a consortium made up of the UMH, Radboud University (Netherlands), Karolinska Institutet (Sweden), the University of Bonn (Germany), Bo\u011fazi\u00e7i University (Turkey), Iuliu Ha\u021bieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Cluj-Napoca (Romania), the University of Lille (France) and Reykjavik University (Iceland). Its aim is to create an inter-university higher education campus shared between the eight universities that integrates education, research, and innovation in neurosciences and neurotechnologies oriented towards society.<\/p>\n
