It will take place from <strong><span style=\"color: #000080\">July 8th to July 12th, 2024<\/span><\/strong>. The program aims to understand neuronal mechanisms underlying human behavior and the growth of the mind.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000080\">One of the course objectives is to become familiar with four types of setups<\/span><\/strong>: electrophysiological recordings with individual glass electrodes (whole-cell patch-clamp and field potentials), multiple electrode arrays, high-density silicon probes, and multi-photon microscopy with constitutively expressed calcium sensors<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">The program will provide a lecture series from local and international experts on (large-scale) electrophysiology, multi-photon imaging, and biosensors. Theoretical fundamentals of the techniques, how they work, what they measure, and their strengths and weaknesses will be discussed.
