UMH Winter School on Brain Architecture for NeuroAI and Neurotechnology: A Systems Neuroscience Perspective
10 November 2025
One of the primary challenges in neuroscience is understanding how different brain systems work together as an integrated and embodied system in the real world. This challenge has taken on a new dimension with the emergence of neuroAI, where principles of brain organization inform the development and analysis of avant-garde artificial intelligence systems. The Universidad Miguel Hernández de Elche is organizing the Winter School on Brain Architecture for NeuroAI and Neurotechnology: A Systems Neuroscience Perspective. This event will bring together specialists in brain evolution, motivational systems, cognition, and bioethics to explore how biological principles of the brain can be understood and emulated in artificial systems. The Winter School will take place in Sant Joan d’Alacant from December 8 to 12, 2025.
Master’s, PhD, and early-career researchers will have the opportunity to attend the Winter School and be co-authors of the resulting paper summarizing the course. The program includes morning lectures followed by focused discussions and tutorials in the afternoon.
