UMH at Campus+, the NeurotechEU platform

Innovation

The European University of Brain and Technology – NeurotechEU has established Empirical and Clinical Neuroscience as one of the eight dimensions of neurotechnology. This dimension is increasingly reliant on advancements in neuroscientific technologies. Currently, it prioritises the correlation between technical manipulations and specific brain states over hypothesis-driven theoretical research on the principles of brain organisation.

With the aim of providing accessible training to the NeurotechEU community, the Alliance’s Campus+ platform offers a variety of courses in empirical and clinical neuroscience. Three of these, primarily aimed at Master’s and doctoral students, have been organised by the Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH):

Campus+ is a platform designed and developed by the NeurotechEU Alliance It functions as a dynamic repository of educational content created with contributions from the nine universities that form the Alliance. The platform ensures that students have access to cutting-edge content across various fields of neurotechnology. It also serves as a mentoring hub, connecting students with experts in their respective disciplines, facilitating knowledge transfer, and fostering innovation.

NeurotechEU is an alliance funded by the European Union under the European Universities Initiative, with the goal of creating a pioneering training network in neurotechnology. In addition to the UMH, the partner universities are: Radboud University (Netherlands), Karolinska Institutet (Sweden), University of Bonn (Germany), Boğaziçi University (Turkey), Iuliu Hațieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy (Romania), University of Lille (France), Reykjavik University (Iceland), and Medical University of Innsbruck (Austria).
