UBO Summer School: “Trust me! Neural Networks, Manipulation, and Ethics”

The University of Bonn (UBO), a member of The European University of Brain and Technology, is organizing the Summer School: “Trust me! Neural Networks, Manipulation, and Ethics”, which will take place from 8 to 11 September in Germany. The program of the Summer School aims to explore the ethical, neuroscientific, and philosophical aspects of AI’s influence on human autonomy and decision-making.
The program includes key topics such as manipulation vs. persuasion and coercion, neural mechanisms of manipulation in humans and AI, ethical challenges in AI-human interaction, and regulation and responsible AI implementation.

Master’s and PhD students of the Alliance will be able to engage in keynotes, workshops, and an ideathon –an activity that consists in generating innovative ideas to make front different necessities- with leading German AI and neuroscience companies.
