Aiming to explore how neurodiversity shapes teaching and learning, NeurotechEU is organising the online workshop: Designing Neuroinclusive Learning Environments. On 2 October, from 11:00 to 12:30 CEST, teaching staff from across the Alliance will have the opportunity to engage with the concept of neurodiversity and reflect on its link to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) within the educational setting.

Through practical examples, participants will explore some of the challenges and opportunities that neurodiversity brings to the classroom, while becoming familiar with approaches and resources that can help create more inclusive learning experiences. The session will also introduce the tool developed by NeurotechEU member Karolinska Institutet: Designing Neuroinclusive Learning Environments, which brings together practical recommendations and resources for the educational community.

The workshop is aimed at educators, researchers, and education professionals interested in promoting more accessible and inclusive teaching, aligned with the needs of an increasingly diverse academic community.
